Tuesday Champions League Predictions

Hello everyone,

Welcome back to TheFootyHut where todays post is gonna be the match previews and predictions for this upcoming Champions League fixtures.

RB Leipzig v Manchester City 17:45

The first tie of the round sees Manchester City travel to Germany as they meet RB Leipzig.  Manchester City go into this match up as strong favourites having won their last 6 games as well as being top of the group. Leipzig can hope to see a very rotated City team as they have already qualified for the next stage and won't want to risk their main players with their game at the weekend in mind. I still believe a rotated City team will be too much for Leipzig to handle though, my prediction is a 3-1 City win.

PSG v Club Brugge 17:45

In my eyes looking at this fixture there is only going to be one winner and this is PSG. Despite PSG already being through they will want to win the game to get back on good form after a two game run without a win. This game looks to be one with a lot of goals with PSG only keeping one clean sheet in their last 5 home games and Club Brugge scoring in 8 of their last 10 away games. Despite Club Brugge's scoring record I still predict PSG to be run away winner. I predict a 4-1 PSG win.

FC Porto v Atletico Madrid 20:00

This game looks to be an exciting one with it all to play for. Atletico need a win to get through to the next round but Porto are currently in the better position to get through to the next stage. In a winner takes all affair it looks to be a very interesting game, Atletico's away form goes against them in this game with only one win in their last four away games. This added with Porto's home form leaves me in the mind that Porto will see the job through. I predict a 2-1 win for Porto.

Real Madrid v Inter 20:00

The next game of the round sees Madrid meet Inter in a game that still has a lot to play for. Winner of this game will top the group going into the next round, this is important as it should mean they get an easier game in the next round. Madrid are unbeaten in their last 11 games so they will go into the game as favourites but Inter won't be a walk over. I predict a 2-2 draw.

AC Milan v Liverpool 20:00

Liverpool travel to the San Siro to face Milan in a game which doesn't have too much importance. As Liverpool are already qualified as group winners and Milan are already going to be finishing bottom of the group. This is why Liverpool will go into the match as favourites as they will look to maintain their 100% win record in the group so far. I predict a 2-1 Liverpool victory.

Ajax v Sporting Lisbon 20:00

Ajax will be looking to do the same as Liverpool and continue their 100% win record when they play Sporting. Although this game hasn't got much to play for as both teams are already through to the next round both will want to impress. Ajax are strong favourites as they are unbeaten in their last ten games and only conceding 2 goals. I predict Ajax to continue this fine form with a 2-0 win.

Shakhtar Donetsk v Sheriff Tiraspol 20:00

Despite Sheriff strong start to the group they have slowed down since then and will not be making the next round, although they will be continuing their European run in the Europa League. As this game has nothing to play for it wouldn't be one for the neutrals, I can see both sides having well rotated teams in order to protect their main players. I predict a 1-1 draw.

Borussia Dortmund v Besiktas 20:00

This is another fixture which doesn't have any effect on the outcome of the group. Both sides already know they won't be making it to the next round and Dortmund will go to the Europa League as third in the group. Dortmund won't want to risk Erling Haaland in this game as he has just returned from injury so they will have a weakened side. I predict a slow game with Dortmund winning 2-0.

This is my summary of this Tuesday's Champions League games, I hope you have enjoyed reading see you soon.
